High speed ski crash!!! Juanki Sanchez came down at over 200kph after losing a ski. He was racing with me today in VARS at the World Record attempt on the fastest ski slope on this planet! He miraculously escaped with just burns and bruises from crashing at a speed higher than the terminal velocity of a sky diver!! It’s incredible how he fought to continue on one ski… Could Bode Miller have done better?!Our helmets are specifically designed so that the outer shell breaks away from the inner helmet, avoiding further injury to the back/shoulder area, it worked perfectly on this occasion. Juanki then took the inner helmet off just as he was sliding to a halt.We’ll update below how he’s doing.
